General Electric GE47 light bulb - 1940s /50s - 6.3V - brass base - U.S. made - $2.49 per bulb
These are the real deal! - n.o.s. (new, old stock) General Electric type 47 bulbs from the 1940s-1950s, with USA stamped on either side of the bottom brass rim (see 2nd photo). 6.3V - long lasting, these will not burn out in a year like the cheap ones made today. Perfect replacement for your vintage Fender amplifier or any modern amp that uses the type 47 bulb. The type 47 bulb has two, locking brass bayonet lugs on the brass base. Each bulb is tested for functionality and are 100% operational before shipping. Note: these type 47 bulbs have been in storage for decades. The brass sleeve has some minor patina build-up. This could possibly create a non solid connection within your bulb assembly (causing your light to flicker due to patina acting as an insulator). This can easily be resolved. We recommend that you gently clean the brass sleeve (with steel wool or fine 1000 grit sand paper) for a solid connection. Dwindling supply - $2.49 per bulb. ( < a bargain compared for what the General Electric Store sells their current version on Amazon !)
